Statistics: Russia’s inflation slows down to 0.1% in April 21–Monday
MOSCOW, Apr 29 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation decelerated to 0.1% from April 21 through Monday from 0.2% a week earlier and reached 2.1% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
The buckwheat prices increased by 2.8% in the reporting week, wheat flour by 1%, sugar, baby food preserves by 0.6%, millet by 0.5%, margarine, noodles, pasta, tea, cookies and cafe meals by 0.3%, meat preserves, sausage, sunflower seed oil, eggs, sour cream, chocolates, hard candy and salt 0.2%.
The prices for pork, chicken, frozen fish, pasteurized milk, fruit and berry preserves for children fell 0.1%.
Gasoline prices remained flat and prices for diesel fuel fell 0.1%.
